I know, and I have checked the USDA status for them and there is nothing negative on Acacia Collinsii  .
Now, as I understand it there are a couple of ant species that have shown mutualism with B. kiplingi. and here is a cool little pic of one eating a nub

has anyone else checked on them?
If they are in Quintana Roo they may be also found in Florida (I'm guessing here )
