i think i count 23 leg bearing segments, which would make this a Scolopocryptops species. We have a couple Sc. sp. in CA too

i also counted 23 appears to be Scolopocryptops.sexspinosus.i could be wrong

i'm moving right now and have most of my books in storage.. but when i get settled down i can look up how to key out the Sc. sp. found in your state
you might want to remind me in a month or so, though... otherwise i almost certainly will forget about it
