Im assuming you are just keeping dibs on creature value?
Might be an interesting thread if it was a updated "valuometer" for our local species and other US species AND it only listed the current popular and most valued exotics as a "pede market index" ..so to speak ...for comparison.
As we "discover"/demo/promote our local species as well as other US species we may be able to see value increase throughout the hobby trade.
Though, to make our "Dow Jones Invertebrate Average" really interesting it would probably work best covering all our local invert types. ...ie..pedes, trues, Ts n'traps, scorps, etc.

i am trading someone and wanted to get fair price values for each of us so i looked up going rates
really though... the market isnt' really like, established enough to be very stable. some species are more established and thus more stable than others
but my easy answer for "how much is this invert worth" is always... "how ever much you are willing to pay for it"
it would be fun to track prices. you almost would have to only count dealer prices though. hobbyists can sell at ~5% what a deal wants, sometimes

Yeah...what I was talking about couldnt be done with any accuracy ...only general value based on whats being advertised.
It really has a lot to do with where the buyer resides vs where the invert comes from. Also, when people see things for the first time ..its like stupid pokemon ...gotta have THAT one! Mommy pleeeaase! Then suddenly a market opens up and the value goes up.
