Velvet antswhat do they eat and what is the best way if any to keep them

Hello,
Keep them room temp and feed them honey reduced with water or apples,mellon or watermelon.
they need sweet nectars just like wasp and bees.
Well velvet ants are not ants but wasp.

these have large mandibles and a pretty wicked sting, so do try to avoid getting tagged =P
i kept a red & black VA for a few months on water droplets, honey, and a bit of fruit now and then
