Anyone keep these? I'm really wanting to get my hands on some, but am having a hard time finding them within the hobby... Any ideas where I can get some, or even just any advice on how to keep them? Thanks!

first if you want to keep them you need a valid Ca. fishing license.
second you can only keep two
third look in the desert, they are out in the palm springs area

If you get a pair of them you can breed them, but you will need a permit.

Darn, it seems most critters I'm interested in these days require me to jump through hoops to get. Thats what I get for liking natives...
fishing license is no problem- they seem easy enough to obtain. Not sure if I have it in me to catch my own, though... I've never been good at that... something to keep in mind, though.
