well David,

after thoroughly inspecting your myspace page, I can firmly say that you and I would get along wonderfully.

I am a faithful Christian......but I make fun of myself and all other religions/races/beliefs.....etc.

You have found a friend. Welcome.

I suspect you're right! Anything that can't be made fun of (including atheists like me) is too stuffy for my life. Looking forward to meeting you!

Hey everyone.... I'm Scott.

Cool group of people here, but I'm not surprised. They make 'em fun 'round here!

I'm not keeping anything right now(living arrangments are no good for it at the moment), but I'm a tarantula guy.

I live in/around Chatsworth/Northridge/Canoga Park at the moment, and spend a whole lotta time floating around the San Gabriels.

Looking foward to meeting you all, or seeing again those of you I've met.

Great work on the forum, and the community Andrew! You the man dude!

Cheers,
Scott

Hey my name is Kyle. I just found out about this group while I was cruising on arachnoboards.

A little bit about myself: I live in San Diego, more specifically, La Mesa. I'm 24 and used to be in the Navy (just got out last week). I'm in college pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree. I currently have 9 tarantulas.

0.1.0 Aphonopelma sp. (poss. reversum)
1.0.0 Avicularia avicularia
0.0.1 Avicularia versicolor
0.0.1 Brachypelma auratum
1.0.0 Brachypelma smithi
0.0.1 Poecilotheria ornata
1.0.0 Psalmopoeus irminia
1.0.0 Pterinochilus murinus
0.0.1 Stromatopelma calceatum

I'm currently looking for MM P. irminia's and Avic avic's.

Kyle.

Good day, everyone. I'm new to inverts and am just fascinated by them. I bought a G. rosea in mid-October and have since added 9 slings to my collection (7 OBTs and 2 A. geniculatas).

I read about this group and the monthly hike/hunts and thought it would be something I'd really enjoy, so that's why I'm here. Very Happy Looking forward to meeting y'all!

EDIT: I forgot... cacoseraph sent me!

@ Jules - Thanks! Glad to be here. I know what you mean about going broke. I was very tempted to rescue a supposed A. seemanni living in deplorable conditions from Petco over the weekend and there were a couple of slings at another store that really got my interest. I may actually go back and get that T from Petco, though.

@ Pulk - True. I just remembered that I brought home a 1" centipede and a solifugid from my mom's backyard on Friday. Looking forward to adding more.
