I just received Wayne's male P. miranda today so I'll be kick starting the breeding project here shortly!  Not too many people in the US have bred them so wish me luck!

Put me down for Psalmopoeus pulcher also.  I just snagged up a MM for a 50/50 with the female I got from Nesh.

Awesome!

I saw a MM on AB had been spoken for very fast. The second I saw the title I thought about N's girl but had no idea who ended up with her. I'm glad you got the MM.

I'll have to start saving now for your P miranda babies!

Gorgeous miranda, Kyle -- is it yours, or only on breeding loan?

Celeste:  The female's mine, the male is Wayne's (sick4x4), so these will be 100% scabies bred!  Expect me to be starting threads in the "Breeding Reports" section of the boards here shortly.

Jules:  Hehe yeah that was me that grabbed that MM pulcher from AB.

Yeah, caco is a T snob.   Laughing   He actually views the G. rosea in the same positive light as I do.

Good luck on all the breeding folks.  Which reminds me.  I have to send Francisco a message to get in line for the MM C. marshalli he has.   Smile

Paul,
Unfortunately I lost the male at the first attemp. I could not do anything to save him. I really felt bad for the little guy.

Also on a sad note, when I was trying to get some pics of my B auratum I accidentally drop her and I could not help as the abdomen got really damaged. I had to put her down.

So I will be sending my male to Liz and then Kyle as soon as he matures, if he is still needed.

Francisco, I am SO SORRY for your loss of that beauty. I don't even know what else to say because I know you must feel horrible.

I hope you can get a lot of slings back from the use of the male you just bought when he is ready. Again, really sorry!

Francisco - that's part of the breeding process which we chance I guess.  That happened to me on my first attempt to breed C. brachycephalus.  She pounced on Crazy Dave's mature male & he didn't have a shot.

Also sad to hear about your B. auratum.

I am so sorry to hear about your marshalli and auratum...  These things happen...

Yeah, aside from OBT's; I think a lot of the African species MM's have the cards stacked against them. Those girls can be nasty and wicked fast.

Not African but still nasty and fast: the female GBB (not Neshan's) I traded Ryan for the P metallica - she killed the male on the first attempt before he could do anything. Ryan informed me I have a very mean girl. Even though she is very freshly molted, needless to say I think she's gone to the bottom of the list to be paired with any remaining MM's when the other females are done!
