I wish I had been able to go.
too bad the clicker beetle passed Sad Those guys are cool. I also read somewhere that some dung beetles use polarized light in order to guide themselves back to their burrows.
I will wait patiently for that vid Wink

ftorres, you find(or even bother looking for) any of those Megasoma in the dunes?

Also, when are the Dynastes supposed to be out this year? I will prolly be going to AZ in a awhile to visit family and it would be nice to know for planning. Wink

Hello Kevin,

No we did not get a chance to go look for Megasoma punctulatus.

I heard that Dynates granti is out, it seems they were late this year.
So if you go you should be able to find some in Payson.
