HEllo ALl,
Once again we were invited to participate on this event.
We attended last year and it was great, so please let me know who might be attending with me to man our table.
It is a great opportunity to talk to people about our passion for arachnids and inverts in general.
I will need some of your collection to display at the table, let me know what you can bring.
The set up is at 9 am and the show runs from 10 am to 4 pm
This is a good time to invite our newest members to come and meet some of the older SCABIES members and to participate on this event.
Please let me know here who is coming and what time can you guys help at the table.
It's a negative for me. the wife has the entire weekend planned for Mothers day _________________ “Look down at me and you see a fool;

Hi Francisco and everyone. I'm thinking of attending and maybe doing some hiking. Need any help, setting up, snacks, anything? Sorry, I've disappeared for a while... Finally picked up some mossy frogs and a ringneck snake. ;-)
i am free that sat (May 9, right?) but i don't have a way to get to the nature center
i can take the train or busses as close as i can get if someone can meet me and take me the rest of the way up the hill (*ahem*, and drop me off at the same place they pick me up from, heh)
i can bring some stuff, too. just little things in super crappy display cases... but i can bring a little MEga/Hexura/ella, an adult Apomastus, a little stripeless tiger centipede and maybe a slow grown Chilean rose (to talk about feeding and temps affecting bug growth rates) _________________

There may be people who like centipedes. I have seen people handling tarantulas and scorpions, but never a centipede handler. I would regard such a person with deep suspicion...Now what sort of man or woman or monster would stroke a centipede on its underbelly "And here is my big good centipede." If such a man exists, I say kill him without more ado. He is a traitor to the human race.
i'm in rancho cucaracha (hmm, forgot how to spell that, i think)
i will look up the mass transits and check after i grab a smoke
edit: this is taking longer than i thought =P
i can get into pasadena easily. it looks like i can make it up the mountain a bit, but i have grown disgusted with the web interface and my ailing computer and tabling further research for a bit. i want to go hiking above my house. i figure since my cam batteries are dead i should see some awesome stuff =P _________________

HEllo KAren,
Please do come and spend some time with us at the table, make sure you bring your boyfriend too, I would love to introduce him to some of the other members.
Thanks for the offer, set up is at 9 am, snaks that be cool, anthing??? yes your presence
How are you doing with the ring neck??? have you feed her yet???
Any chances of getting the king that day???
Hey Francisco I have some acrylic literature stands that I can take, two of them are the kind where you insert an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet and they stand upright (would be cool for some info-facts or picture -ummm. SCABIES poster/flyer that is if something like that gets done-)
The other two are regular standing lit holders.
ha ha, let me know if we can get some pics printed or something. _________________ God does not play at dice AE
Hi Francisco. Sounds great! And yes, I will be bringing Ben with me.
And perhaps if you have room on your table.., a couple of my mossy's for display? I can put them in a 5 gallon for the day.
The ring snake was a spur of the moment purchase from a local petstore. I have had him for only several days and he has not eaten earthworms, cut up nightcrawlers, or the fish I have provided him. Have now moved his tank to to a dark location... Although salamanders on the menu for later in the week may arouse his.., ... well, lack of appetite, I am thinking a release back to the wild while he is still active and healthy, may be the kindest.... I am open for suggestions.
Hey Andrew, if you can get to Pasadena I may be able to pick you up and drop you off where you need to be.
Francisco, I'd like to coordinate as best as possible since I may not be able to stay the full length of the show, I will either get there late of leave just a little early, but I'd like to know you have enough "table coverage".
Either way, if it comes down to it I will do my best to stay as long as possible _________________ God does not play at dice AE
Sounds like we got a good group of people attending.
I'll be brining...
Hissers
Maybe My Discoids
Dried Specimens
Some mantises
And a Insect Physiology Book that I need to sell. _________________ My karma ran over your dogma...
i can get busses out there and back, but it might really constrict what time i can be there. there is at least one transfer i make that has a 0 minute cushion.... so if the bus i am on is a couple minutes late the bus i want will have already left
i think i can do something like 11a-3p or so _________________
