Here's a photo of my eyeballs. Why? Because! No, don't adjust your screen, the color difference is correct. I'm what's called heterochromatic in medical books. Translation: genetic brainfart. It runs in the family - there's usually one per generation. Only shows up in the women. Odd that.

Hahaha! I'm a graduate student in aquatic ecotoxicology (I study mercury) at the University of Alberta and before that I had a few lab/field assistant positions with other grad students in aquatic ecology.
Its pretty rough being paid to sample freshwater inverts and fish in Rocky Mountain national parks and Alberta's boreal forest... But someone's gotta do it! Hahaha
