looks like my trip to cali is kinda falling apart. i may be able to salvage it however. i am supposed to meet up with a friend that is flying over from germany. he is renting a vehicle and we are supposed to do a tour of cali. well, all the other people have dropped off the trip accept for me and one other guy. so i am thinking of meeting my buddy in the san diego/LA area and carpooling with him to cut down on the cost. is anyone else interested in joining the trip by chance since we are going to be in the area?? also, would i be able to leave my vehicle at anyones place for a few days????

I would love to if I can get rent situated for the 1st then! Let me know what is on the agenda and I will see if finances allow.
hey robert, we plan on meeting in your area on the 28th heading north to various spots and then dropping a few off at the bay area and then driving back down to your neck of the woods on the 2nd or 3rd to finnish the trip this is not set in stone, but we will see. i gotta at least get up north to catch C. theveneti.

could you post an itinerary type thing? i am not sure how many scabies could do the whole trip... but i think a lot of us would love to meet you for a day or weekend or something
also, there is a ~sister group in NoCA that you might be able meet up with
There may be people who like centipedes. I have seen people handling tarantulas and scorpions, but never a centipede handler. I would regard such a person with deep suspicion...Now what sort of man or woman or monster would stroke a centipede on its underbelly "And here is my big good centipede." If such a man exists, I say kill him without more ado. He is a traitor to the human race.
i am not sure if i will even be able to make it up to norcal this time. i may be campin out with you guys for the entire trip. but then that means.... no calisoga theveneti we will see. hmmm.. how bout if we spend most of the trip down with you guys and then for a day or so, we can head up to mariposa and take a crack at em?? like saturday and sunday?? that may be fun. the money thing is keeping me from doing the entire trip. ah well, it will be fun regardless. _________________ i vow to never belong to anyone born from this soil
if it is not coming up real soon i might be able to swing somethign like leaving friday afternoon and getting back late sunday night... and could maybe throw in some bucks for a rental to get to mariposa. i am hella broke right now though, so i would NOT count on that, at all! _________________

Yeah -- definitely let us know when you'll be around, Josh, and maybe we can do a spur-of-the-moment scabies dinner get-together or something. (Or a barbeque at Robert's place???)
great idea celeste (BBQ at roberts ) then maybe a bit of bug hunting. i would love to go find aphonopelma cryptethum some of the trapdoors and possibly do a trip up to mariposa. the coolest spider ive ever seen in the US is found in mariposa... gotta go!!!

Did you find accommodations for your So. Cal. trip?
If you can't find any place else to stay, you can crash at my place. But you'd have to sleep on the living room floor... And my place is pretty out-of-the-way. And it's crowded. And it smells like a combination of dog wee-wee and dirty reptile cages.
well thank you celeste. we just need a place to go. we will be all over that area so probly wont be too out of the way. we may stay with robert for a bit. we will most likely hit up andrew on the way through as well. there is a possibility we will be camping out as well. ill keep you informed. thank you again for the offer!
