What kind of conditions are you keeping it under (temperature, humidity, moisture, substrate, etc.)? _________________ "Tarantulas are friends, not food" (but I bet they taste pretty good with butter and lemon!)
temperature is room temperature
the KK has tape over the majority of the holes on top, and I mist it well once a week
there is a 1.25 oz cup (w/ small rocks) for water, which I fill once a week
substrate is just a very thin layer of peat moss
it spends most of its time on vertical cork bark
Does anyone know what temperatures these things prefer? Ever since one of my baby Thereuopoda got a fungal infection and died, I keep all my scutigeromorphs on the dry side (but at high humidity). All are currently at my house temperature, which is probably between 75-80 F. _________________ "Tarantulas are friends, not food" (but I bet they taste pretty good with butter and lemon!)
btw, the 2 smaller ones from Celeste died pretty early on but the larger 2 are doing great. they are VERY comfortable living communally; the smaller one was even able to molt right next to the big one.
By the way Celeste if you find more of them I would like to adopt like 4 more.
Do you mean the house centipedes? Because I have three small ones currently I could give you. I haven't seen too many lately. Saw a lot of them in March and April, but they are becoming scarce now.
