I had my big female versicolor at the Bug Fair, and was attempting to show how docile she is. As I prodded her onto my hand, she was acting a bit temperamental until she settled down. She slowly cruised around my arm and hand when out of nowhere and with malice a forethought, she clamps down on my index finger with fangs extended and presses her fangs into my soft, tender flesh. Afterwards, I noticed a small drop of blood. Obviously not a real bite, more of a "leave me the hell alone" nibble. Startling, but uneventful.
