I was browsing Bugguide and you won't believe this:

Pachysomoides stupidus

Now not only did that kill me but I can't believe that it's real. Oh and did you guys miss me? Mr. Green

So I was wondering do you guys know of any insects and or spiders with really funny scientific names?

That's exactly what I was thinking! I know that the guy said he didn't make the name up.....and I believe him because I've seen some pretty odd ones....but there's also a possibility that the spelling is wrong......

Were they on crack when they named this wasp?
