Went to fishing in California Aqueduct, pump was not turn on.
No fish, so out comes my UV light. Flipped a couple of rock and found this little buggie under a large piece of granite.
It was calm, i picked it up right away, and in goes to my plastic box.
Being a newbie, I like to ask knowledgeable member to ID this Scorpion for me.
Thanks
PS: I just got some scorpions from Kent The Bug Guy. Everything went smoothly. Love it.

I don't know for sure, but I am curious to see what the more knowlegeable people come up with.
Based off of my limited knowledge and a lot of picture comparisons I am guessing that this one is part of the Vaejovidae family. Maybe a Paruroctonus speices but that is now a fairly longshot guess.
Thank you all for the quick response. I have a question, what do i feed them? I tried a cricket yesterday. I seems like the cricket is bigger than him/her and it was running away from the cricket? I can feed them meal worm? Totally a newbie on keeping scorpion. Thanks
Avoid feeding anything wildcaught. My food of choice are roaches but crickets will work. Just go to a petshop and pick the appropiate size food. Something its size or smaller. It can probably take down bigger prey but it might be to much for it. Don't worry scorps are very skittish they'll sometimes run from the prey but it'll eat it eventually. _________________ AbYsS
