Hello All,
Abstract:
Comments on the taxonomic status, the geographical distribution, endemism, and
specific diversity in each state are given for the 28 known Mexican species of the genus
Centruroides Marx, 1890. Oaxaca (11 species) and Chiapas (nine species) are the
states with the highest specific diversity, whereas most of the remaining ones are home
to only one to four species. As a whole, 85.7% of the species are Mexican endemics, but
only Chiapas and Veracruz have restricted endemisms: four and one, respectively
