So the millipedes came an and they are TINY!

Ivory millies are the largest at 3"

Albino narcs next at 2.5"

Flame lag black at 1.5"
Bumblebees at 1"

VN rainbow juveniles at 1"

Couple of quick questions and i think i will be set!

1: The Ivory Millies i just got all have white legs, and the two that i already had, and the others i ahve seen have black legs, is this just an age thing?

2: The enclosure for each of these species is about 9" x 12", with 2" of peat moss, with dried oak leaves mixed in, topped with about 2" of spongeum moss to hold in humidity.

Here is a shot of the setup:

I realized upon seeing these little critters, that there is a good possibility that i will not see them for a number of months at their size! Are the enclosures "too big"? will they have a hard time finding the food bowls? Also should i keep the moss on top, or should i just remove it so that i can see the critters much easier?

Thanks again for any info and support!

HEllo
Yes enclosures are way too big, have a smaller enclosure inside the permanet enclosure so you can control the temp/hum and be constant all the time.

It also makes it easier for them to find food, living in a small container.

So i have 8 baby VN rainbows, and 6 baby bumblebees with red leg and albino juvi in two small containers (3"x3").

Digging them out proved to be quite a task in those larger enclosures!

I also removed most of the moss, in that it was hiding a lot of the millipedes.
