I still thought it was cool as I hadn't come across it in any other site... maybe it's just that old.
Científicos del Instituto Max Planck de Investigación de Metales en Stuttgart, encabezados por Stanislav Gorb, descubrieron en las tarántulas cebra (Aphonopelma seemanni) de Costa Rica un tercer mecanismo de adherencia: estructuras microscópicas en forma de boquilla ubicadas en las patas, que segregan un filamento viscoso parecido a la seda.
