Meeting at the NHM- Times Mirror Room 8pm and Pinning Workshop 6pm
The Insect pinning workshop will take place prior to the meeting, from 6 to 8 pm, again at the Times Mirror room. It will cover basic Butterfly and Moth pinning techniques, and it will be presented by Bedros Orchanian.
The workshop is FREE, anybody interested in collecting and studying insects is welcome, Lorquin members and non-members alike.
There will be lots of beautiful butterfly and moth specimens to practice on, and you get to take home what you mount.
What to bring:
• Glass headed pins, about 100.
• Insect pins, number 2 or 3, few, if you have any.
• Scissors. Forceps.
• Mounting boards will be provided, which you can keep, but if you have any of your own please bring them with you.

I might be there 30min before the meeting to do stuff but I can't be there the whole time with the workshop due to the amount of traffic on a Friday afternoon.
