There may be people who like centipedes. I have seen people handling tarantulas and scorpions, but never a centipede handler. I would regard such a person with deep suspicion...Now what sort of man or woman or monster would stroke a centipede on its underbelly "And here is my big good centipede." If such a man exists, I say kill him without more ado. He is a traitor to the human race.
Just search online for care sheets. I'll see if I can find a couple and post the links. _________________ "Tarantulas are friends, not food" (but I bet they taste pretty good with butter and lemon!)
They're really obscenely easy to keep. Just be sure to keep any pesticides well away from them. (That includes don't pet your dog if it has flea drops on it then contact the roach enclosure). Like crickets, they are ultra-sensitive to toxins. _________________ "Tarantulas are friends, not food" (but I bet they taste pretty good with butter and lemon!)

You sure? The lobster roaches I had were bulletproof and lived with out any external help for +6 mo, and then some survived a thorough dosing with raid... Not too sure if mine were just really strong, or if yours were sensitive, but...whatever. _________________ - Kevin aka What

oh, some roaches are very hard to keep a live, much less get babies from... i remember seeing these sweet giant roaches when i was at... i think it was Ken the Bug Guy's house but i kind of can't remember... apparently like nobody can get the dang things to live much less make the babies
my lobs were pretty tough, but i managed to kill almost all of them off when i accidentally added too much water to their relatively low vent rig... i was keeping them at a petstore at the time and when i next opened their cage (call it 2-3 wks later) i had like, converted their poo to ammonia or something and most were dead :/ _________________

My lobs are pretty hardy. I have them in a bare bottom container with some eggflats. I neglected them for like 2 or 3 weeks, came back and there were thousands of newborn babies from all my adults.
