Wow. Those are great pics.
Mind the questions but, did anyone want that shovel nose?
I wouldn't mind trading or buying that one _________________ God does not play at dice AE
Oscar, You would have to have a valid fishing license to keep one since it's a California native. _________________ “Look down at me and you see a fool;

If you have a license we should go out in acouple of weeks and see what we can find..
P.S. Happy Anniversary _________________ “Look down at me and you see a fool;

Ah thanks man. Sadly I will have to make it up to my wife in some incredible way I'm yet to think of, but this was the weekend from hell. Work is getting way too crazy (err busy), and well, we had a fun sat but I worked the whole day today and am working the whole day tomorrow...
Anyhow, let me know, well, let's check schedules and plan something, I wouldn't mind me some more herps.... crap, it's started. :p _________________ God does not play at dice AE
Eric and Kyle I see you guys had a fun time walking in the dark dessert looking for critters.
Nice pictures of the snakes too.
Eric, why you would not recomend keeping this snakes?
What makes them difficult?
feeding habits?
Most people I know have had bad luck with them. They don't last long for them for some reason.
Its neat to have a snake that eats crickets though. Also another neat thing I learned about them a year ago is that they seem like they have a resistance to scorpion venom. _________________ www.ericaustinyee.com
Were you guys hiking or road cruising? _________________ “Look down at me and you see a fool;

Someone brought one into a pet shop I used to work at. She laid eggs (They were so small I didn't notice them), and I had her for two years.
She ate roaches, crickets, guppies, a lot of things. One of my favorite natives to California.
Hello Celeste,
Yes I saw one on display at the Eaton canyon event.
I would love to have one,simply because is a native and a small colorfull snake.
francisco
Yeah, A SW herps guy has had one for awhile like Celeste said. He is good with natives. Some people keep them way too hot I think. I knew some kids in Baja who had them as pets and told me they live forever and breed for them!!!
