I'll bring 175 or so G. rosea slings and maybe a MM.  He might be fairly old, but he did get the job done with one of my female rosie.  No guarantees that he's still fresh, though.

We will try to do a breeding demo with a pair of Aphonopelma species that were picked up from Bakersfield, I'm bringing the MM, and Warren is bringing the female.

I will also be bringing a Lasiodora difficilis female and Francisco will be bringing his MM to try and breed this species at the BBQ as well. Smile

...but we should try to do as many as possible while there Smile

I'll bring my female as well, just to try. I'm not sure if she's mature yet, but I'll bring her anyway, and we can compare their sizes

The Vinegaroon matings are pretty freaky -- that will be *very* educational for people.

And I'll be surprised if you get the P. metallicas to mate in the middle of the day...

The M. giganteus mating, aside from freaky to some, can also be extremely long to others, lasting up to 13hrs of courting and culminating with the deposit of the male's spermathophore.

I dunno if the moving around of the containers and transportation stress will be of any help.

Maybe they will ignore each other until they are home alone with the lights off, the flicker of the candles playing shadows on the wall and Barry White's voice reverberating in the background...

Hey gang... I am running late, but I still plan on bringing the B vagans and emp for the raffle.

...and I probably won't be able to stay for long at all...

I can't even begin to tell you all how bummed out I am that I'm not going to be able to make it today...

If anyone passing by ventura wants a free emperor scorpion, hit me up because I've never been able to keep an emp alive so every day it's in my care, it's probably one day closer to death. Sad

I hope to make it to the next get-together... man I'm so bummed...
