Yup -- my son and I have a family membership, and I think Francisco and maybe Eric also have memberships.

Are you going to Super Spider Night???  :-)

I'm evil and might not be bringing the little one as it is also the First Friday Mixer at the NHM. They have lectures, photo exhibits, music and food?

It all depends though, Im sure Evan would enjoy the spider pavillioN at night.

We will see. Mmmwahaha

Interesting! I might try to make this event.

The one that is really catching my eye is the Fossil Digging Field trip they are having in the Silverado Canyon in a few weeks. I've always wanted to go find some.

I was looking at that, too, Eric -- but I wonder if we can just go there ourselves (and not have to pay the money)?  Or is the site on private property?

I'm not sure, that area might have some off limit areas. Since they discovered the whale fossil there a few years back its been hit pretty hard according to my geologist friend. Even tough its in my own "backyard" , I like to go with someone who knows what their doing. I think your son might like this trip.
