Good luck!

Very good and healthy looking spiders. Smile

Does Gravid mean Pregnant with eggs ?? or does it mean she is ready to mate ??

I've always wondered that ::lol::. I guess i wasn't curious enough to ask earlier ::lol::.

It means pregnant with eggs.  These ladies were mated back in July.  The one on the left is getting ready to lay and the one on the right is about a month behind her.

Kyle.

:in whiny otherboard style:
those cages are too small!

in truth, those look like awesome setups. i really like the fact there is pretty much one place for them to cast the eggsac.  plus, you can fit like 10x as many spiders as in a 10g cage

I had to change out the substrate in the right enclosure last week because of a mold issue.  I woke up today and she's gettin' busy Smile

I decided to pull the first sac today.  I've never really had a chance to see them develop before the eggs-with-legs stage so I thought I'd watch Smile.  With 211 eggs, I couldn't have asked for a more successful sac!
