on victory blvd between magnolia and burbank. nice diversity with T's.

the guy there has come a long way. they used to keep them in these cases that were not really right for spiders. i bought a C. bech there. i had been looking at an H. livid that they had, trying to decide if i wanted to spend that kind of money on a pet hole. it was very stressed. bright lights, reptile ground nut shell, no hide, too many crickets,sponge with bowl, ect.. It was pressed into a corner with its legs tucked over its self. i wanted to get a more advanced T but not that advanced. I really felt sorry for it. there was also a C.bech there as well. the nice young guy kind of seemed to think the way to show the T's was to get them to threat pose. he got the livid to do it and the bech. i noticed that the bech seemed to be leaking hemo when he was done, so i left with out buying. i was too much of a a newbie at that time. i did not want to invest in a T that was not so well cared for.

i went back 6mos. later.

i asked about the livid, apparently it had escaped. i looked at the C. bech. with the big scab on her ass. bought her.

a nother few months had passed. he had completly different management of the T's. no bright hot lights. kept in more appropriate containers. same guy just had learned a bit more. he had been reading up as he had a couple of books on sci names be hind the counter. he seemed more up on the care now as well.

the C. bech has molted once. but she still can not web. only a little out of one spinner. she tries tho. and has her own hole. still scabbed on the butt. i am not sure it it will ever get fully healed.
